Tangible excitement is in the air as the weather is warming up. Being a professional builder of custom equine facilities, we’re looking forward to the nice weather bringing horse shows & outdoor competitions! All of us at Quarry View Building Group are excited to sponsor the Upperville Colt and Horse Show on June 6-12 in Upperville, Virginia.  

The Upperville Colt and Horse Show was founded at its present location in 1853 by Colonel Richard Henry Dulany to encourage better treatment of horses and improve the local breeding stock. With free parking and admission, you too can support this historic show, steeped in tradition, with a local community feel and involvement.  In fact, Grafton Farm was just named to the National Register of Historic Places! The national register lists cultural sites worthy of preservation.  

Many of America’s top riders over the years competed at Upperville early in their careers, so this show is the place to not only see the skilled equestrians at all levels, but also see some of the top riders in the world.  Culminating in the $216,000 FEI 4* Upperville Jumper Classic on Sunday, the caliber of riders and equine athletes will be a sight to behold!
